I was so dismayed this album "Inflorescent" wasn't massive in the charts. Its super funky and working with Mark Ralph (who previously worked with the brilliant Hot Chip) lifted their sound into technicolor. I think the major label move and the long long hiatus between this and "Pala" made them lose momentum. Can't wait for something new by FF 😉👍

Something about this whole album reminds me of 90s jazz fusion from like Sega and PlayStation games. I always loved that type of music and wished someone would make it with lyrics because it's always just instrumental. I really hope you guys release a new album soon
